Catskills
Mary and Drew are my favourite couple in the world.
They split up after 10 years of marriage, but they were meant to be together. Mary became my best friend, my kind of soul mate and the one I turned to when everything around me went black and dark. We lived in New York, met in the EQ room at Milk Studios, started internships at the same time. She was the coolest French girl ever and I was the nerdy German girl.
We immediately fell in love.
We immediately fell in love and she let me into her life. Drew and her life. The musician, the best guitar player I've ever met in person, with a knowledge of music that still amazes me. They both taught me my now taste of music and are the reason for some of my courses in life.
We were spending the summer of 2010 in the Catskills when I took these pictures. The three of us rented a house and friends came along whenever they had days off. There was a lot of nudity and freedom as we spent the days outside by the river behind the house. I think it was my best summer in the 6 years I lived in New York. Thank you Drew and Mary for showing me another side of life that I had the pleasure to enter.
